- The Good – Great quality, comfortable, versatile, a fantastic price and WARM
- The Bad – one size fits all may be a problem for those with dainty or shovel like hand sizes
- The Ugly – Nothing

What can you really write about a glove?
Well for the BBB Innershield winter gloves not a huge amount but that isn’t necessarily a bad thing.
Billed as an under glove to wear beneath your winter gloves for the very cold days when the Mercury is struggling to rise like the Gruppeto up the Terminillo, these are in fact so much more!!
Lightweight, comfortable (the seamless design is fantastic) and with a long cuff to tuck your winter jersey in these are a one stop shop of greatness. Officially these gloves use Far InfraRed (FIR) technology to keep your hands warm and exceptionally comfortable by improving body’s metabolism and microcirculation.

The only complaint is that perhaps the one size fits all approach may be slightly awkward for those with small or very large hands.
There are two things that really sold these gloves to me though, the versatility and the price. I used these under my mitts last weekend and they are thick enough to chase off the Autumn chill from what would have been my exposed fingers so although billed for use under long fingered gloves I think they are equally good for Autumn and Spring rides. You know what I can even see myself bringing them out as a normal glove as I begin my running (or should that be waddling?) journey from couch to 5k
As for the price, well at £8.95 you can’t really want for more. Unfortunately my budget is such that rather than purchase full winter gloves I find them instead confined to my Christmas list along with many other cycling paraphernalia (remember I want) but I have a feeling these should see me well until then in all but the harshest of temperatures.
